HerCuLIS is an interdisciplinary project that encompasses sociolinguistics, anthropological linguistics, language and educational policy, cultural studies, as well as applied digital and information technology. The goal of the project is to define and document different varieties of Serbian as a heritage language in five representative communities of the Serbian diaspora in the USA, Canada, Austria, Germany and Spain. A specific goal of the HerCuLIS project is to increase the visibility of the Serbian diaspora both in Serbia and abroad.
